I am from Romania, where I've graduated from Drama School. During my college years, I was introduced to photography first from the perspective of a model, but I had become very curious about the technical principles that photographers use in their art, so I became a photographer assistant for a few projects. I took photography seriously four years ago in the United States, where I currently live. As an immigrant, it wasn't easy to adapt to the new environment. Photography came into my life like an instrument that helped me accept my loneliness, my homesickness, love, and fears and express these emotions through images. Not only photography became a tool with which I could communicate with people, but also to myself, as well. For three years now, I'm doing wedding photography professionally for two companies in the area where I live. However, my big passion is to take photographs of expressive people, preferably from different cultures, and tell stories with their eyes. When taking photographs I like to combine the art of acting to direct my models. In my photography, I'm interested in storytelling that consists of strong emotions.
