I'm a formally trained fine woodworker who originally got into photography to take pictures of my work. I quickly fell in love with photography as a way to see the world a bit differently. I started as a hobbyist taking abstract architectural photos as well as product photos for my business. Eventually companies started to hire me to do product and real estate photography. Now, about 10 years since I purchased my first camera, I do professional real estate, product, corporate and portrait photography. For fun I enjoy landscape and animal photography. I live on and run (with my wife and father-in-law) an 87 acre regenerative farm in Western Pennsylvania. We spend weeks a year in our second home on our 500 acre wilderness property in the Adirondacks. If I had one goal for my landscape work it would be to showcase the beauty of the natural world while also illuminating the importance for environment protections and for us to come to grips with what need to be done to mitigate and reverse climate change.
