I'm a 74 year old male who's enjoyed photography for most of his adult life and have belonged to Croydon camera club in Greater London, south east England since 2005. I was club chairman for almost 3 years, from late 2022 to September 2025, but have now stepped down, hopefully thereby encouraging a new regime with fresh ideas on how to take the club forward. I've since joined a second camera club, in Epsom, just outside of Greater London, In East Surrey, looking for inspiration in the hope I can widen my horizons and improve my photography. I don't concentrate on any particular photographic genre and try to enjoy almost all types of photography. However, having now relinquished my club chairman responsibilities, I hope to have more time to spend on improving and widening the scope of my photography.
