Gunjan Bohra

The face behind the lens is Gunjan, which literally translates to “the gentle humming of bees”. This is the story of a girl who lost herself into the world of computer programming when she started her career as a Software Engineer. However, the creative streak had always been surfacing from time to time, growing stronger and finally made its strong emergence when she embraced the art of playing with light, colors and emotions. She took her baby steps into photography a few years ago mainly focussing on her young son and over time she has collected a massive treasure of happy faces, gorgeous models, and numerous product captures with her faithful Nikon D750. Inspired by the rich colors of the rising sun, she decided to pick the warmth of Orange as the color to represent her affection to liveliness, freshness and energy; and the Horizon to remind her that she still has a long way to go before resting. This will always keep her on the toes, working to embrace and deliver stunning photographs that are great today; but get even better over time. Welcome to the world of ‘The Orange Horizon’. Having studied jewellery design from the prestigious Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Singapore, made a few castings herself and hand-drawn some beautiful concept jewellery puts her in a position to make some great recommendations for her fashion photography photoshoots. Gunjan continues to nurture TheOrangeHorizon as she paints her canvas with the rich colors of London and hopes to make many more people smile as she goes around humming the tunes that she can’t get out of her head.
