I have been taking photographs since about 1985 but didn't really get serious until 2008 when I bought my first Nikon digital camera. After entering the digital world I struggled for about 2 years with post-processing and the how and what of it. My focus and reason for getting into photography in a more serious way was to share the beautiful landscapes and nature scenes I saw in my travels out doors. I have spent most of my life outdoors and have a good appreciation for light and how it affects a scene. I don't mind getting up hours before daylight or staying out hours after dark to get that special image.
