I've lived in Iowa my whole life and have done a little traveling throughout the years. I'm new to photography (realized my interest while taking pictures of buildings for work) and I'm learning as I go (any and all critiquing/advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated). I don't have fancy equipment and a good portion of the photos I take are with my crummy phone, but would love to expand my knowledge. I love rocks, clouds /storms, anything outdoors really, and, most of all, animals. I've had many pets over the years, and the list keeps growing. I currently have 3 geese, and 2 dogs (a Doberman and a bull terrier). If I could pick my dream photography scenario, it would be to have the opportunity to interact with and photograph exotic animals (elephants, lions, tigers, giraffes, etc). Animals have always fascinated me and capturing their unique characteristics and behaviors is something i could never get tired of.
