I was born in Rio de Janeiro - RJ - Brazil. I started shooting artistically in 1979 to join as co-owner of ABAF - Brazilian Association of Photographic Art - in Botafogo in Rio - RJ. I participated for eight years, including being Director of Design by two years. Got, among other awards, 5 Year Examinations (are chosen three first places in the annual contest and of these 3 is selected Year Proof) and three First Places, always the Color category. I published in various magazines: - In Brazil: Iris, Shoot Better, See, Fotóptica and special publications like: Rio Talents, the Bank of Brazil (where I was the only guest); Journal of Foreign Trade (two editions), the Bank of Brazil; - Abroad: Popular Photography, the USA; DP - Photographic Art (five editions), Lisbon - Portugal. Did exhibitions in FUNARTE - Rio - RJ (selected from nearly 300 portfolios from all over Brazil); RIOARTE - Metro Carioca (also selected from the entire state of Rio de Janeiro); Tear Gallery - Ipanema - Rio - RJ; ABAF - Botafogo - Rio; National History Museum in the Praça XV. - Rio - RJ, Visual Arts - Shopping Downtown - _ Bar Rio and new headquarters in Lagoa - Rio - RJ. Participated in numerous national and international competitions, with optimal use (1 s, 2 s, 3 s places, honorable mentions and other selected photos for the exhibition contests).
