I've been taking photos for about 50 years, first with my father's cameras, then later in the analog era I took photos with the Canon A1 and the T90. I've been working digitally for the millennium. Via Nikon and Konica-Minolta I ended up at Canon again after the Eos 40d, currently with the 5d MK III and the Eos R. The black and white darkroom in the bathroom has given way to Lightroom and Photoshop. For me, image processing plays almost a bigger role in creating the images than taking the photos. The operation of the camera works in most situations with sleepwalk security. Since I almost always record in RAW format, post-processing of the images is always necessary. At home, on the computer, I try to put the finishing touches to the pictures, so that they look the way I perceived the scene. For a good result, I like to invest a little more time in image processing.
