Hey, I'm Ryan! My wife and I are the Wandering Wilsons!---------- Having lived in appalachia our whole lives, the wife and I sold our house, bought an RV, and started our journey westward! After a 6 month long adventure - not always fun- we currently call Green River, Utah our home! A photographer's, geologist's, and explorer's dream location. Miles and miles of underexplored areas filled with dramatic and colorful formations waiting to be discovered. ...and theres some pretty dang impressive rocks to be hounded here as well!-----------Positioned between 3 national parks - all within an hours' drive. Moab too. The Book Cliffs are at our back, the absolutely awesome San Rafael Swell is 15 minutes to the west, and hundreds of miles of back roads and trails to explore. We are so thrilled with this tiny town that we are calling Green River our home-base for exploration! ---------- I feel so lucky to be sharing this adventure with my wife, who always encourages and motivates me to invest more of myself into the things I'm good at. She is the best. Follow her ' WanderingWilsons - Kristin '. -------- Hope you all enjoy my photos! ---------- I use a Nikon d850, tamron 24-70, tam 70-200, and the tam 150-600, Sigma 105 prime macro, , and I broke my wide angle lens. It was a tamron 14-24, but is no longer (to remedy its absence, I use the 24-70 and do panoramas). A tam 1.4x telecoverter, but dont find myself using it terribly often. Sometimes ill use my drone, a mavic air 2, to get some pretty crazy aerial landscape shots. I do have a basic star tracker - pretty cool tool. I occasionally use a pretty basic tripod - but im not usually a fan of carrying them around. I have a lightsource bag - for night stuff or creative stuff. Flashlights, super-spotlight, flood light, micro LED's - lots of assorted little goods Ive collected over the years. Photoshop is my post processor of choice, and Lightroom my organizational tool of choice.
