Waygoer

The Waygoer was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, to latter struggle through growing pains in the city of New York. Always dreaming of adventures in distant lands, his curiosity led him to the realization that the shape and outcome of our lives is entirely dependent on a critical thought process and open mindedness. His urge to be an intimate witness to the mysterious beauty of life and its vibrant colors has consciously landed him in the dilemma between that of a successful businessman and the precarious position of a dedicated explorer. After working very hard for the urban security and success, in 2005 he submitted to his calling and resigned from his high profile position to take on the world without any agenda, only to write his own destiny as The Waygoer in which all nature, whether human or otherwise, is his home and the sky his rooftop. Being a third generation photographer, many of the otherwise remote places on Earth have been accessible through his lens. These photographs are the inevitable result and documentation of years of roaming, exploration and active participation in many cultures through out our fascinating planet. His ceaseless strife for knowledge, compassion for all existence, life and its constant flux is apparent with every click of the shutter. The past six years of the Waygoer’s life were not about photography or the end result of a painted picture but rather a sacrifice to make buoyant the many questions we harbor deep inside yet ignore at the price of our happiness and the next bill payment. Whatever his images may represent, one thing for sure is the encouragement to live, explore, believe in limitless possibilities be tolerant and open to All. Waygoer
