I live in Wales at the bottom of the rhonnda valleys, described once in the 16th century as some of the most beautiful valleys in Wales, famous for coal mining in the 18th and 19th century (there was a coal mine every mile in the valleys) these pretty much destroyed a lot of the natural beauty of the area, the last coal mines closed in the 1980,s and 90s,and nature and wildlife is making a comeback,I ,m seeing things I never saw growing up (eg.otters, kingfisher, red kites) coming into the area.i had an interest in photography years ago but haven't really bothered for a long time but I kept seeing things and kicking myself for not having a camera on me, bought a cheap DSLR off ebay and started enjoying taking pictures, half of them don't come out tidy but I,m reading a book on digital photography so I hope by the time I get to the end of it my there will be some improvement, but I wouldn't put money on it,but I just enjoy snapping things that catch my eye.(p.s, sorry for rambling on) Enjoy seeing others photographs, takes me places without having to move
