A Day at the Zoo

A stunning image, I love the way the photographer has caught the calf being looked after by it's elders. I feel the mono treatment works really well and both the contrast and exposure have been handled really well. Just shows you can capture great images at a zoo.

I really admire the way the photographer has gone for something different and the collage works really well, all the images work together really well, I do wonder if the bottom left image would have been better in the middle as I find my eye being drawn down to the white tail.

I really do believe that zoos do an excellent job in projecting wildlife but this image kind of gives the other side you can imagine the animal wants it's freedom, I like the way all the colours appear to be from the blue palate a well seen image.

I love this image of a youngster meeting a young goat, no fear just pure joy, I love the lads red shoes as well, technically the image has been well and it deserves it's runner's up position sometimes the simple shots are the best ones.

I have never a polar bear swimming underwater in a zoo before and would love to know where it was taken. The bear seems to be having a great time I love the way the light is adding detail to the bear and pool, the image has been very well handled and deserves it's Top 10 spot.

I lovely image image but for me I hate seeing images with watermarks etc at the bottom of a image my eye instead of looking at the main subject is straight drawn to the bottom and all your hard work is wasted. This is of course my own opinion and other judges will do doubt feel differently.
