Simply beautiful, I must say spoilt somewhat by the watermark sorry, I can understand the reasoning but not in such a contest and site... Gorgeous symmetry and lighting, eyes wander but drawn into the centre, ideal for brief........ Clever differences of top and bottom half, perfect amounts of detail yet 'smootheness', well done......
This gives me everything I wanted and more with the inclusion of verticality or depth even though it's an illusion, gorgeous 'modern architecture' and one of the few to reflect across the vertical. I have several images of this area and bridge and I love it thank you for creating something unique..... Super use of fake and genuine reflections....
I like what you have said about creating something different, and yes this is a well-photographed location but I feel you have done well and created a striking image that stands out in large selection. I personally love high contrast and you have done this to perfection, some postwork but the clarity and sharpness have remained and are supreme. The composition is wonderful but not the complete symmetry as most other images dur to your choice of angle, the cyclist works well but also detracts as focus is drawn to him a little too much.......
This is ideal for the contest, you have reflected an image that is exactly what I was looking for and choose a wonderful building epitomising abstract architecture, I wanted someone to give me more than I envisaged and this is it, well done beautiful shapes, and light.... Just a niggle why is there a line across the middle, no need, almost perfect...... And just crop left and right to remove the tree edge stuff.........

For this contest, we want to see Architecture that is has been distorted in post or is naturally unusual in design to create an abstract image with a pleasing visual - BUT there must be a reflection again natural or added. With the use of symmetry, mirroring, reflecting or even circular software. The idea is to be subtle yet unique but still maintain the original architectural characteristics of the building or feature... it must still be recognisable as what it was.
