An image of ultra-sharp perfection. The converging pattern on the sphere is both amazing and mesmerising. This type of image is a fairly common subject but it is rare to see it captured with such a masterly precision. Although you have applied a watermark it does not intrude into the views perception. Congratulations on being in my top ten selection.
The slinky, invented in the 1940's is a common photography subject but is rarely captured in this more abstract form. The folded shape, lighting and the point view combined with the shallow DOF make this one stand out. The point of in focus is important and I think you have nailed it. Well done and congratulations on being in my top ten selection.
A beautiful image with complementary colours. Only the leaf stalk makes this a recognisable subject. The backlight gives a strong colour hit and highlights the fine detail of the the ice inclusions making this an outstanding abstract. Well spotted and shot. Congratulations on being in my top ten selection.
A very creative abstract that immediately captures your attention. I like the abstract arrangement of imperfect wires with some crossing giving more depth to the image. The reflections add a symmetry with the grey/green and yellow having a calming influence. The water drops are very sharp front to back which usually requires photo stacking. A unique image for me and a worthy judge first. Congratulations.

Meet the judge
You have taken a very ordinary subject and made it extraordinary. The flowing "S" curve lines are pleasing enough in themselves but when combined with a double exposure it gives the image an impression of movement. The image is suited to black and white and the lighting has been well controlled. Well done and congratulations on being in my top ten selection
