Old meets new that about wraps it up for this stunning picture. This picture for me is the clear winner with it soft pastel colour throughout interrupted with solid solid colour of the boats, flags and sailors. I feel I was there to see this personally. Great picture right on brief.

I guess its a fender or similar that the line is holding but what does that matter? When central to the frame there is a knot that just sits. What a superb use of depth of field to deliver a great picture.

This is a great shot jetty top just above the third and boat central with the steps leading the eye to the central point. Clever use of the steps to bring the eye back to the point. The boat, wall and stones are timeless have you thought about B&W or spot colour on the red fender?

This is a fantastic picture showing the true power of the sea. Timing is clearly important and you have nailed it. This would rate highly in the top 10 had it not had a distracting watermark bottom left pulling the eye away from the picture.
