This contest is for your close-up photos of patterns found on animals. There is incredible beauty to be admired in these patterns whether stripes, spots, scales or feathers to mention a few. You should be able to identify which animal it is by looking at the pattern, but please do not submit full-length photos of the animal, leaving an element of mystery to the viewer. Please only enter images of living animals.
