Apples

This photo has been for me the real surprise of the contest and I have never seen an apple photographed this special way. A wonderful construction of the pic with a well formed thin slice, showing only part of it instead of presenting the whole. The center remembers me to a blossom or cloverleaves. And I really love this wonderful green colour and light. So for me this photo is the number one in this contest.

Great stilllife wonderful combining the delicious looking apple with noble accessories, which have a relationship to presenting or eating the apples. There are a lot of exciting points in the pic. So we see red and green apples in perfect light. I love the idea to use waterdrops only on one and especially the green one. And to put this apple extra in bowl is another great idea. The photo generates a feeling immediately looking for a nice place and just enjoy. And after? You have still the photo to remember a delicious moment.

Quite an extraordinary idea, which I really love. I love this contrast created by a wonderful apple and a " tunnel ", giving a feeling to be indefinitely long and being a spiral getting more and more narrow. And there the contrast created by the wonderful lighted green and the grey surrounding. Most exciting for me is the shadow of the apple and I really wonder how the photo was actually done.

Another great idea in this contest: a red apple shown on a red background and vanishing in the red spiral. And the white lines showing the idea of the golden cut and some other lines are just beaming out of the apple, really a very creative work, which combines the nature with technique and philosophy.
