Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Backlit portraits are a way for photographers to compose portraits with dramatic lighting, usually in a studio setting, but also when shooting outdoors. Effective backlighting can be achieved with natural or artificial light, but both can significantly help to enhance the mood of your portrait shots.
