Bird Reflections in Water (in colour)

This is a great photo and it is very deserving of the Top 10! There were so many amazing images in this contest that choosing the Top 10 was very difficult. This image really caught my attention with great reflections of multiple birds. Congratulations!

What a spectacular image! I love the asymmetry of the Egret's wings and the beautiful reflection. As you mentioned in your comments, it is very difficult to capture feather texture for white birds, but the texture and clarity of this photo is great! This was a very competitive contest with many great images, but this photo definitely deserves first place. Congratulations!

This is a great image! You really captured the tender moment that the two gulls were having. The ripples in the water obviously don't make the reflections as clear, but honestly in this particular image, I think it adds to the beauty. Well done!

This photo is very deserving of a Highly-Commended award! The colour, composition, and clarity are spot on! I love the texture of the bird's feathers as well as the texture of the reeds. Because brown is the dominant colour, the orange of the bird's bill and the greenish-yellow on some of the reeds, really stand out and make for a nice contrast. Well done!
