The reason I did not put this image into my top ten is simply because it technically breaks the rules as I specified ' no colour'. However, I must commend you for it still because I think it is a gorgeous photograph. I love the framing around the face and the blue in the eyes is truly captivating! Well done :)

What can I say! I had to commend this photo because I simply love the full front facing portrait of such an elegant bird. I have worked with birds in photography before and I recognise how difficult it can be to get such a perfect shot, so congratulations! This would have made it into my top ten, however I feel like I would like to see a little more clarity and would be even better if more of the image was in focus. But still, a wonderful capture!

This photograph is absolutely stunning. From my first look at all of the images from this competition, this was the first one that caught my eye. The bold contrast of the lines in this image is eye catching and striking, which I absolutely love! I think the angle of this image is perfect because the lighting created leads the eye across in a diagonal direction, rather than directly across which adds a sense of depth. I also find it interesting how the form of the model is not totally clear, being abstracted by the solid lines and angles of lighting. An exceptional image, well done!

This photo is simple, beautiful and calming. The thing that drew me to this image is how peaceful this scene appears, how you have managed to capture this model in what appears to be a fairly private moment of serenity. One of my favourite things about the image is how there is a crisp and clear focus straight across the middle highlighting the water, her arm and her head. I like this because it draws your attention to the model, as opposed to her surroundings, and the blur of everything else really softens the image overall creating such a smooth and gorgeous effect. Congratulations on this masterpiece!
