The attention to detail is amazing capturing the portrait in focus and the out of focus birds to capture their movement is a great idea. You have used a great use of tones to help enhance the scene. Congratulations on third place in the contest. this is a great powerful Image that is highlighting a protest and the job of a state trooper during that protest. You can see the emotions of the state trooper as he has to be there for both sides maintaining the peace holding in any emotions. You have used a great use of composition to add the details of the lady holding all of the signs in the background to help tell the story of the protestors which is a great piece of visual story telling. Great Image and keep up the amazing work.

Congratulations on first place in this contest it is well deserved. I love the use of shapes and light within the Image. I love that you captured the cyclist in the frame too as it gives it a Henri Cartier-Bresson style photograph with all of the elements that are in the frame. Great Image all round and keep up the great work.

This Image deserves some recognition as it was going to make the top 10 but then I realised that the Image on the left was taken somewhere else and stuck on top of the original frame which is classed as heavy photo manipulation. I really like the contrast between the two characters as there is a similar aesthetic captured as well as unique differences and I like the compositions and use of tones. It definitely deserves credit for its creative ambition. Great image and keep up the amazing work.
