Black & White Minimal

This image just made me think....."wow, I wish I had taken that." This really is extreme minimalism. Just the one subject to focus on and even that just consists of just one white line...However, it still manages to convey a concept. I am a huge fan of minimalist photography and this is so simple yet so very effective. Congratulations this is the winner for me.

Personally, I find this photograph particularly claiming and relaxing. The use of minimal components works really well, focusing the eye on the fishermen. The composition is great, as although the main element sits almost in the centre of the frame the horizontal symetry of the boast balances this out very well. Great use of negative space...this would look great framed on a wall. Fantastic work, congratulations.

This piece to me is great. The minimalist nature really appeals. Brilliant use of hi contrast and the side on perspective and silloettes are very graphic. This makes me almost think of a platform computer game of the 90's, especially with the almost pixal like looking stairs. This image really speaks to me and I would happily have it framed up on my wall. Congratulations, great capture.

What a truly wonderful shot this is. The composition is absolutely spot on. The figure entering the scene and starting his climb up the stairs really guides my eye perfectly through the image. The converging lines, again, of the steps draws me in. The simple geometric background also brings a graphic feeling to the photograph.... I feel as if I am climbing the stairs with him and am left wanting to know more of where he is going. Fantasting image....very impressive.
