There are many things I love about this image. The composition creates balance from the jumble of boxes; there is an eye catching pattern from the chaotic assortment. The texture of the wood and the ropes is also engaging. The highlights and shadows are stunning and the technique is perfect. It is an exceptional image. Thank you for submitting it in the contest.

I really like the perspective you chose in this image. I also like the deep pink and blues in the rustic or industrial setting. Your choices created subject matter that is quite eye catching. Even though there is some of dirt and grime in this photo, the image still seems delicate and sophisticated. That is a hard thing to accomplish. This is a gorgeous photo. The blue/teal and gold against the textured background were great choices. There are many shadows in this image, and those dark tones make the gold and red stand out quite nicely. The ornament arrangement inside the box is whimsical but also sophisticated. You made some unconventional choices in this photo, but it worked. I love the balance and the colors. You made the tight crop work; it frames the text in a way that creates interest and tension.
