I felt that this image was worthy of the overall 1st place as it was so striking visually in both colour and composition. What I was particularly impressed with was the creative interpretation of the brief, which for me, made it stand out from the rest. The use of neon coloring really gives the image punch. Great work.

This was very close to being commended as I like the concept and the set up.

I really liked the fact that you backlit the grass with the headlights out of focus in the distance which makes for a really beautiful, ethereal photograph.

As an image, it doesn't quite fulfill the brief of the competition but as a standalone photograph, it is great.

I was particullay drawn to this images for its creative take on the brief, it's very easy to photograph a bridge, but the real skill a photographer has is seeking out those angles that no one else has potted. The photographer here has done just that. Looking directly up at a bridge with the people crossing is great, and the graphic lines of the structure against the blue sky is wonderful, but the cherry on the cake is the aircraft crossing frame. Really good work.

***This contest is open to subscribers (members on the Challenger, Pro and Master subscription tiers). However if you're not a paying subscriber you can still purchase entries for £2 (GBP) per image.*** Most of us come across bridges fairly often in our day to day lives, and while many of them go unnoticed, others are impressive structures that dominate the area they’re situated in. A wide-angle lens could give you a broad scope and dramatic lines for capturing a bridge and its landscape, or you may choose to get up close and shoot the details. The choice is yours – but remember, be safe and only stick to pedestrian areas.
