Great picture, taken when it's just in it's blue hour to be able to get the maximum out of the sky but also holding the lighting in & around the beer garden. The buildings are straight & the lighting is wonderful too. This time of day photograph is showing people in the beer garden having a great social evening with the flood lights on & keeping the the flood lights from been blown out. Great to have a Cathedral in the back ground also lit up. Well Done.
Great photo. The front part of this is just out of focus to be able to see what they are drinking but your eyes are drawn to the two gentleman that are in focus & what great expressions they have. The one on the left is concentrating on not spilling a drop while the other looks to me as he is saying" Yep that's it Fill it up". It was a shame the whole arm on the left gentleman wasn't in the whole shot but the light & shadows are just right & the colour seems to be just so well balanced.

Like the angle you have taken on this pub. The colours look really nice on the Cotswold stone & not been pushed. Like it where you have got the two umbrella's at the edge of the right & left hand side of the picture & to top it of the two old farts lol, stood near the sign saying that they will still get severed. All very nicely in focus & is nice & straight as buildings should be. Well Done.
Very nice picture, you can see how step the path is & a leading line which is taking you all the way up to the top house. It was a bit of a shame that the signs where not in focus, I would of tried to go a little bit higher than f/11 just to see if I could of got more focus on the signs as well. Great colours, the white buildings make the other colours stand out. Well seen & well framed plus keeping the pub board in was a great idea too.

This contest is for your colour photos of British pubs. The British pub can be anywhere in the world but it must be what is known as a British pub. The British pub is a place with an important social function as well as being a drinking edtablishment. Pictures can show the interior or exterior and it can be empty or full of people. Please no close up shots of one item. Images must be in colour. It would be good if you could include the location of the pub in the image description. I look forward to seeing your photos.

Nice angel but I would of levelled it out. It seems to be tilting to the left corner. Also have one of the floor board joints to start in the left hand corner it would then give it a bit of a leading line. If those two things had been done I would of marked it up a place. It's just that I'm not a fan of tilted pictures. Like the colours & not been over worked. Well done :)
