Great contest!

What a great shot in what looks like very high winds. You've managed to nail some great tones in the sky that's blended well with the use of Bulb Mode. Nicely composed as well as using the background to add depth to the image. Very well done on making my top ten

A very cold feel to this shot as well as moving clouds give this shot a great atmosphere. Great depth and clever placement of the tree. Most people centralise the tree which ruins the composition in my opinion but this is perfectly placed. Also great use of bulb mode. Congratulations on making my top ten

Now this shot epitomises the allure of Bulb Mode. That glass like effect on water with the mist effect when it meets rocks. Lovely tones in the water give this a lonely desolate feeling but a place where one could also find solitude. It also feels like the end of the Earth. Very nicely done and congratulations

A superb example of Bulb Mode. Love the mist created from extremely long exposure and also captured beautifully in the clouds. Great depth and tones in the land to contrast the moody feel. A very moody atmosphere and scene wonderfully captured. Very well done

What brought this image to my attention immediately was the sharpness of the huts in the foreground. This scene is very moody and the huts contrast the image nicely as well as add depth. Also excellent use of Bulb Mode. This is exactly what I was looking for in the brief. Very well done on a wonderful image

I would like to see your long exposure photos captured in Bulb Mode. Timer mode is also acceptable as long as the exposure is 30 seconds or more. Any subject is acceptable but metadata must be included with your image. Images without metadata are to be marked as "not on brief". For my judging I will be looking at composition and effective use of bulb mode/long exposure on moving parts of your shot, for example, water and sky.

This wasn't included in my judging as it didn't meet the brief. In future read the brief in full as it's unfair on other photographers
