This photo I absolutely loved. It drew mean in Witt it’s vintage feel and atmosphere as well as a sense of gritt. Unfortunately the bottle is in focus and not the subject and therefore did not meet the brief.

In this contest I am looking for candid colour shots of bar, cafe and restaurant workers, male or female. I am looking for environmental street photographs, where the employee is the focal point and in focus, within the surroundings of the establishment or the environment they work in. As a minimum the employee must be shot from the waist up but from head to toe would be even better. No shots from the rear (that would be too easy). The subject must be dominant in the image, so no geometric street photography where the architecture dominates the individual. Remember, photos should be in colour, be a candid shot (unposed) and the employee be the subject and focal point of the shot.

What drew me in here was the great lighting that focused on the employees who were also focused on their preparation. As if a seen in a play where the spotlight highlights the individual. The black and white tones add to this as well as the framing. Very good composition.
