Capture a Bad Habit

This image stood out to me immediately. The simplicity of the setup and the colours are beautiful. It would be a textbook-perfect photograph of the beach without the bottle, but with that litter in there, it becomes so much more.

Littering is indeed a very bad habit that some have, and you've captured it perfectly here by using something that was left some time ago. The use of light and shadow to focus the viewers' attention is excellent, and the colours are perfect for this kind of shot.

The level of detail in this image is brilliant, from the burning right through to the lettering! It manages to be beautiful and repulsive all at once. Smoke isn't easy to capture but it's done well here, with every curl and angle caught.

Excellent portrait! Great use of the light to pick up the slightest details of the young face and pick out the very tips of the hair. The smoke is captured beautifully and the contrast with the darkness is perfect. Well done!

Delicious photograph of brownie making! The sugar is captured so well in great timing, and all of the colours are really vibrant. The set up is brilliant because although there's a lot in the image, it doesn't look cluttered, and it all looks quite natural too.
