size of image is too small to allow a full assessment to make a firm judgement. Whilst it looks quite noisy in the background, I can't ascertain as to whether it's noise or something else. The size of image also makes it difficult to ascertain sharpness and clarity.

It doesn't appear to fit the brief, and the subject is soft.

A judge would be looking for an image that is relevant to the competition brief, and also has some outstanding features, such as creative composition, or an unusual subject

Gorgeous image, with the colour, depth of field and lighting, all coming together to create a unique image. I've done some similar work in the past, so I know the patience and skill involved. I also recognise the fact, your image is on a whole other level compared to my own. Beautifully executed. Well done!

A really nicely executed image, with great skill shown by both the photographer and the gymnast. Really nicely lit, with attention paid to the possibility that the flour might obscure the the gymnast. Beautifully shot, and the post processing conversion to quite a punchy B+W works extremely well.

Absolutely outstanding image. I love the clarity of the subject and the smooth bokeh. Composition is bang on, and the background colours compliment nicely. Beautifully lit too Really nicely executed, and I admire your both your patience and skill, greatly! Well done.

I love the clarity of this particular image. The red of the balloon really "pops" against the black. And yes, I realise that's a pun. The path of the object t hat burst the allloon is easily seen, and adds a bit of intrigue as to what was used. A really nice image

Not sure why this image is in the high speed category. It looks to be a beautifully executed image, although difficult to see with it being so small. Whilst it doesn't fit the submission criteria, it's still a really nice image
