Cigarettes and People Smoking

A classic scene from the 50s, like from a movie. Excellent work and setup, well chosen position and excellent lightning. Also you find the right moment as the man was just moving his hand to the cigarette. Not looking into the camera makes this scene even more realistic. Excellent work and congrats on a 4th place in my judging.

Brilliant use of natural light on the man's face and the smoke from his cigarette. The bit of grain in the background is authentic. Excellent black and white conversion with Silver Efex Pro I use all the time myself. Perfectly sharp in the face and hand with the cigarette. Well done.

I have seen similar photos before, excellent work and well done, most be a lot of work to realize such a photo. The combination of cigarettes and the respiratory equipment is just brilliant. Perfect lightning. I wouldnt have cut the upper part so much, but sometimes with a 85mm it's tricky. Congrats on 2nd in my judging.
