Cityscapes

This image is the epitome of the hustle and bustle and energy at street level in New York. I find the image captivating and the feeling of nocturnal vibrancy that is so alluring about New York City. A well executed shot, well done.

I really liked this image of the Dubai cityscape. This long exposure is well captured, clean and sharp. The choice of composition nicely balances the skyscrapers and highways that give the appearance of vibrant energy arteries running through Dubai. A lovely image.

I really like how this iconic San Francisco viewpoint has been captured. The use of the person perfectly striding in the foreground provides perspective and the symmetry of the building frames the bridge in the background. The tone and texture of the edit bring interest to the viewer. A good image

I really liked this abstract entry. The stripped back editing makes the lines sharper and clearer similar to an architectural drawing. I like the composition with the heavily contrasted building on the left hand side of the image providing balance. A lovely visually appealing use of vertical and horizontal lines.

I thought this image was bold. I like how the all of the saturation has been pulled out of the photo which makes the lines of bridge more striking. I like the composition along with the final edit make this a interesting and original entry.

I really liked this entry from street level in Porto. I particularly like how the photographer has tried to maintain sharpness from the front to back of the image which gives the impression of urban landscape encompassed on all sides by buildings.
