Firstly, thank you for submitting your images to my contest, there were many excellent images which made selecting the top ten very difficult. There are a lot of images of the City of London, what I particularly like about yours is the view point and your use of the whole range of black to white. Ansel Adams would have been proud of you!
Firstly, thank you for submitting your images to my contest, there were many excellent images which made selecting the top ten very difficult. There were several views of the Millennium Bridge and St Pauls taken with a long shutter speed. entered into the competition; What I particularly likes about your image was the view point and the way you have handled the light on the bridge and especially on the buildings.
Firstly, thank you for submitting your images to my contest, there were many excellent images which made selecting the top ten very difficult. There were several views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the city behind, I particularly like the light airy feel you have given the image by your use of monochromatic processing instead of black and white. My liking of this image is is unusual for me as I tend to be drawn to contrasty images with deep blacks and bright whites. My only criticism is that it was a pity you lost the top of the flag on the bridge, nevertheless it is a wonderful image.
Firstly, thank you for submitting your images to my contest, there were many excellent images which made selecting the top ten very difficult. I have seen several images of this style and your image is head and shoulders above the others. I particularly like the use of long exposure and the slow shutter speed to flatten the water and leave a hint of shadow but it is the wonderful lighting on both the buildings and the foreground. The only other thing I have to say about this image, is that I wish I could have taken it!
Firstly, thank you for submitting your images to my contest, there were many excellent images which made selecting the top ten very difficult. There were many images of New York that were submitted but yours stood out to me because of the orientation of the shot, emphasising the height of the buildings and using the two buildings either side of Grattacieli di New York to emphasise it's wonderful architecture.
