This is a fantastic image that wouldn't look out of place on the front of any magazine.

You have obviously taken the time to line up the shot and that hard work has paid off in a wonderfully framed image.

This is a great image and well done for taking the time to capture such a unique angle and get everything lined up.

The angle leads the eyes perfectly through the frame and I really like the balance of the exposure from dark to light, my only slight niggle which kept it out of first place is a slight bit of pincushion distortion towards the centre the frame.

This is a great shot that would hold its own in any National Geographic piece.

A beautiful moment in time which you have framed really well and exposed to almost perfection to get those wonderful warm glows from the sun.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s Leaderboard.** Classical architecture is that which either is, or is more or less derived from, the Greek and Roman architecture of classical antiquity. Almost any architectural style up until the advent of modernism will contain classical elements and influences, and is welcome in this contest. So whether you know your Doric from your Ionic, if you've been shooting the exteriors of old buildings then you should have something to enter.
