Cloudy Mountains

I really like the mood of the picture! It looks like it was taken with analogue camera (maybe ideed it was?) - colours are not so vivid and also darks are quite dark. It is a pity that camera was not specified!

I really like the shot and it very nicely fits the contest! Super moody, and those clouds going over the hills are really great! It had to be challenging to keep lights and darks in order to have nicely balanced histogram at the end.

You are also saying that the picture is a scan from 35 mm slide - if this photo was taken with analogue camera then it was even more challenging to keep exposure proper. Great shot!

High contrast and reduced shadows work very well in this picture creating very nice and mysterious mood. Love it! What also works well is that the picture is in the panorama setup which allows to fit the whole mountain here. Really well done!

I like the color toning of this picture - very nicely fits to the winter and blizzard. Even though there is a single hill in the image it very nicely fits the contest. I can also imagine that taking picture during blizzard could be difficult.

I really like to composition and color toning of your picture. It is quite melancholic, dramatic (as you already highlighted in the tags) and also nicely fitting to foggy weather of England. It it also very simple - no unnecessary post-processing which would only damaged the picture. Well done!

I like the idea of perspective - easily recognized first, second and far plan of the picture. It was quite some elks in the same place! I was just wondering if putting the camera slightly lower and changing the perspective to have slightly more elks wouldn't be better but anyway, great picture!
