When judging Coastlines of the World I found myself repeatedly coming back to this image! It really is a stunning capture with lovely fleeting light, beautiful tones, great textures and superb composition. I'm not sure of the location of this shot but the addition / placement of the people in the vast landscape make it feel like the are on an expedition!
An extremely beautiful shot and worthy winner, congratulations.
Shingle Street with its shifting shingle banks looks an amazing place to shoot, and somewhere I'd very much like to go myself. I love the composition of this shot, with the shingle sweeping from the bottom left and leading your eye to the houses on the beach. A very well taken and beautifully processed image and deserving of my top 3.

The textures and tones in this monochrome conversion are simply superb. For me this image shows just what is capable by exploring your local coastline and shows you don't always need to visit popular locations to create stunning images. The considered use of long exposure creating misty water against the beautiful textures of the rocks and sand give this the feeling of another world.

This is an image that definitely grabbed my attention when judging. Its a very powerful shot with a great use of shutter speed making a very dramatic image! Unfortunately for me the processing doesn't quite do the photo justice. It feels a little heavy handed in my humble opinion, whilst theres nothing particularly wrong with this I would like to have seen it with a little less contrast and clarity.
