Colouring Pencils (in colour)

Hi! First of all, thank you for entering my competition and congratulations on getting first place! I love how light this image feels, and it's refreshing to look at. The white stripe around the colour in each pencil complements the background well, and the framing is excellent, leading my eye straight to the pencils. The vibrant tones of each pencil creates a bright atmosphere, and I always feel a little happier when looking at this image. Once again, thank you for entering and well done!

Hi! Firstly, thank you for entering my competition, and well done on second place! The reason I love this image so much is because of the vibrant colours textures. The bold rainbow pencils really stand out against the bright blue background, and create a bright happy atmosphere that cheers me up whenever I look at it. The texture of the pencil tips is also really interesting, and just by looking at it, I feel as though I could crush it between my fingers. The lemonade bubbles also contribute to making this a bright bubbly (excuse the pun) image that, overall, is well deserving of a top spot.

Hi! Firstly thank you for entering my competition and congratulations on 4th place! I really love this image and placed it in the top 5 for a number of reasons. Firstly, the use of the glitter on the pencils is very effective, especially where the image is out of focus, creating a gorgeous bokeh effect. I also really enjoy the placement of the 4 main pencils, as it creates a nice, even central focal point. Lastly, I like how the pencils fill the entire frame, really immersing the viewer in the image. Overall, I love how sparkly and bright this photo is, and it lifts my mood whenever I see it. Well done!

Hi! Firstly, thank you for entering my contest and well done on third place! The reason I chose this image was because I love 2 main aspects of it: the colour and positioning. The smooth gradient from pink, to orange then green is very calm, and soothing to look at, contrasted by the bright white pencil placed over the top as a focal point. This is executed really well, and enhanced by the pencil's positioning being diagonal to the rest of the image. Overall, this image is very enjoyable to look at and explore, as well as being very sharp and well executed. Once again, thank you for entering and well done on third place!

Hi! First of all, thank you for entering my contest. I really enjoy this image, as the pale pastel colours of the pencils complement the light brown of the wood well. The range of colours is diverse, yet they all still fit well together. The only drawback in my opinion is the quality of the image, as it doesn't feel quite crystal clear, however this is a minor detail, as the rest of the picture is very enjoyable to look at.

Hi! Firstly, thank you for entering into this contest! I really like this image, as the colourful pencil shavings really contrast the black and white pencils placed on top, creating an interesting image to look at. If I were to suggest an improvement, I would perhaps fill the entire frame with coloured pencil shavings, to really increase the impact of the solid pencils. However this is just a small detail, and overall this is a really good photo. Thank you for entering!

Hi! Thank you for entering my contest! I really like this particular arrangement of pencils, as not only is there the central focal point, but there is also a second layer to add even more visual interest. This is also helped by the contrast between the coloured pencil leads and the light wood, creating a really enjoyable and interesting image to look at. Well done!
