Crops can be worked beautifully into a composition, but you need to take the right approach! Rather than simply pointing your camera in their general direction, consider how you most want to present them. For example, a wide-angle lens can capture the whole field, while a telephoto lens will help you isolate your subject from a distracting background. Macro can get up close and personal.
