Cycling

March 2024

This is a lovely sunset shot on the beach, with a cyclist taking a rest and gazing at what is unfolding. The colours are electric and creates a perfect backdrop. The person and bike are perfectly sharp. Great balance of beach, sea and sky, and the bike right in the centre.

A great capture of a room in ruins. A bicycle takes centre spot, with light from the only window hitting it and making it stand out amongst the darkened spaces behind. Taken on a tripod, 1/8th sec shutter speed, and with the ISO kept at 100, this has given a lovely quality to the image, and I love the mood and atmosphere.

A fabulous winning shot. Wheels within wheels, with the photographer positioning themselves perfectly for when two cyclists ride past minding their own business. All wheels aligned, nice exposure, no motion blur and lovely balance. Looks like a lovely Spring day in London.
