Daffodils and other Narcissi (in colour)

Thank you so much for entering this image into the contest, I fell in love with it immediately. It is so perfect in it's composition and lighting that, for me, it epitomises the joy and hope of spring - no words needed! I couldn't have asked for a better winning image.

Not all daffodils look the same and I am glad that so many entries showed the sheer diversity. This close-up image has a clearness, a simpleness about it, nothing that distracts the eye. Thank you for entering it.

Thank you so much for this real classic image of a traditional daffodil as it is known and loved everywhere. The angle is perfect and there is nothing to distract the eye - it just had to be a black background. Again - less is more.

Could I pick a favourite?? All three are beautiful, different and wonderfully captured. I really appreciate the composition with three very different varieties and colourings on black backround, as to concentrate the eyes on the flowers itself. Thank you.

Spring sunshine - here we come!!! What could be more happy and carefree looking than the combination of the golden daffodils against the clear blue sky. A real classic and I love it.
