Thanks for entering the competition and congratulations on a Fantastic winter image night image. To get the full milky way and the 360 panorama to work together, you need to be technically skilled, and you nailed it. We like the composition, the curve of the valley mirroring the curve of the milky way, and the two lakes with similar foreground lines balance the image well. Great job.

Thanks for entering the winter night photography competition. Great capture of the northern lights, and I like that you included a foreground feature which often gets missed with northern light photography. This image fits the brief extremely well, however, by having a better balance overall between the prominent foreground feature and the lights, would have resulted in ranking this image higher. Overall great job and I can imagine it was a magnificent night out there shooting.
Thanks for entering the winter night photography competition. I like the creative take on the night photography, with the use of steel wool to create interest. I also like that we can see the snow that the model is standing on. Perhaps a slight change of angle to get more of the reflection and really use the leading line of the sandbank to point to the subject could enhance this image, I'm also not sure if leaving the headlamp on the model was intentional or not however overall nice job.
Hi, thanks for entering the winter night photography competition. I am a sucker for black and white and I really like your shot here. The composition is great and it is edited well. In terms of the brief, I'm just not quite sure this image could only be taken at night/dusk but none the less I think this is a great shot. Well done.
Thanks for entering the winter night photography competition. I like your creative approach to finding images during a time that can often be hard to find things to shoot. From the light painting to the star trails, this is a great concept. Perhaps the foreground could have been simplified, by getting closer to the driftwood on the left would have made it more prominent, but overall I like your idea. Nice job.
