Dawn light

Silky smooth seascapes work well at dawn, as the beautiful colours and textures in the sky reflect in the water creating a dreamy and atmospheric feel. A minimalist subject such as this bridge is great for leading the eye through the image and again creates a wonderful symmetrical reflection. The long exposure has completely smoothed out the water giving it a surreal and timeless feel. By using a narrow aperture of f/11 it has transformed the lights on the bridge into twinkling stars, which all adds to the finished effect. An outstanding image Emanuel, well done!
