While I am sure some will not agree with my choice as the tree isn't the subject of the photo. However, I really like this photo because it tells a story. It really contrasts life, with the class, and death, with the tree and the landscape. It is also the most unique entry. Well done.

This is a dynamic photo that while drawing the eye to the tree, one can't help but notice the eerie feel of the photo. I like the way it is edited to draw out the different colors of the sky and buildings.

This photo was a very different take on the brief. I like that it shows trees on land and in the water. The bed also gives this photo a different spin. I also like your use of black and white.

This photo really drew me in. I like that the tree is not centered and how the light is captured on the water. This photo is not over edited as many like it were giving it a more natural feel.

There is a certain beauty that can be found in an old dead tree or trees. What I would like to see are tress that have drowned in a dam or river or been burnt by fire or lightning. Creepy old ones and silhouettes would also be good.
