Delicate

This is so beautiful. Not only are dandelions delicate themselves, this has been shot so they look even more delicate. The softness to the photo really adds the perfect touch and only having the blue tone makes it so you really focus on the softness of the image. Well done for getting into my top 10!

This is such a beautiful image and to me, really says delicate. The older generation are delicate and the lighting on this and the contrast has really brought out her age in her face. Her expression shows how delicate she is and the hand placed just on her cheek so delicately really makes this photo. Well done for getting 1st place.

What caught my eye about this photo, was the way the delicate baby was being held. The person is holding the baby so gently but also the hands stress protection, making sure the baby doesn't fall. I love the use of black and white for this photo as I feel you can concentrate more on the story rather than being distracted by colours of clothing.

This is the perfect shot to show delicate, the bird looks so tiny in the hand and the slight movement in the photo shows it is being stroked delicately. I just wish that the wrist watch wasn't in the photo as the colour of it really distracts from the bird. But otherwise a brilliant photo showing delicate.

There was lost of butterflies entered into this competition but this one caught my eye as the wings to me remind me of stained glass windows, which are also delicate. The depth of field is brilliant, meaning you can focus only on the butterfly.
