Details of Bangkok

This is so typical thailand. We want to build a new highway or skytrain but then we stoped it and nobody cares. Now there is an unfinished concrete bridge in the middle of the City. Maybe this photo would be technically better without the plants and the motorbike drivers in the front. Nevertheless the photo shows what I wanted in this Contest: things you only find in Bangkok. Thank you.

Bangkok's traffic is horrofying. However it is not so easy to show this on a photo. Many people do not belive me how chaotic it can be. On this photo you can see this good. There is so much light, people drive fast, change the lines, the street is crowded. A longetime exposure was a good idea for this shot.

This is something you see very often in Bangkok, Thais who just sit or sleep under stairs. It often looks like they live there. Somethimes they ask for money, and some other times they just talk like they sit in their private kitchen. Very characteristic for this City.

I think this was the only photo in this contest which showed the sonkran festival. And it is a very nice picture. You catched the situation very nice without ruining you camera. I like the water jet in the middle of the picture. You immediately realize what is going on here. It really looks like fun. Thank you,.
