Dice

Most would agree an obvious winner, lovely clarity and quality colours/tones. Very futuristic (if dice can be). Simple composition and glorious lighting but effective - I got what I asked for, well done....... There is almost a sense of computer generation in the graphic nature........

There are a lot of faults with this image and it's with an iPhone (sorry but I have an issue - it's not a camera) but I really like its natural feel, a simple snap of the dog tells a real story as a photograph should, thank you for its inclusion I feel you may have been unsure to include it. There is so much to see - the dog, the dice, the game, the child, the adult, the sofa, all are just there and create a very natural homely lovely image, even the finger blocking the lens adds. But the centre of the universe is the dog - happy in its forever home but possibly a little bored or left out - well done...

An immediate top 10 for me, not many attempted this and this is a masterful image that I'm sure took some effort. Just the right amount of 'trailing' and nice composition not easy to achieve with a non-illuminated item this long exposure style. Clever use of light and red transparent dice....

There were a few done of this sculpture possibly by the same photographer but this is a quality image especially in b/w, nice clarity and I enjoy an abstract image. Nice composition, narrowing the aperture may have given more clarity around the depth, nice........

Sadly just one out of the top 10 but still deserves comment, there were two others that were just that little step better but a very good attempt and I'm sure, not easy to achieve, something well worth attempting again..........

I really like the abstract nature of this image still clear in its content but very eye-catching in its surreal approach, caught my attention immediately, nice image adding something that was a little bit lacking in this contest - sadly......

Nice to see an image of something a bit 'out of the box', given a top 10 due to its originality and simple but clever composition, nothing too fancy but very original....... Maybe a little more sharpness to the cubes will help....

A nice inclusion to the top 10, clever use of a hand that few attempted and the lighting well considered, I think only b/w would work here. Some softness and grain to the whole image that adds to the feel. Nice detail to the dice well done...
