Dogs at Work (no sports dogs)

This is a lovely image. I like how the person's face is obscured by the glass as it adds an element of privacy to the guide dog's owner. I really like the way you have composed the image as, though the dog has seen you, it is still fully focused on its job. A lovely sharp image, well done.

This is a nice shot of a police dog in training. The angle you have chosen has allowed you to keep the jump angle in shot. This means that the dog has plenty of space to run/jump into. I also like how the police officer stops you leaving the frame. A cracking image, well done.

Crikey. This is an intense image. You clearly get a sense of danger that these work in where the handler has to have confidence in their dog and visa versa. You have shown this clearly by the dog laying comfortably by its handler's side with its ears pricked forward. Deciding to shoot in black and white aids the image, well done.

Though this is an intense situation where a dog is rescuing a person, the image appears calm. I feel this is due to the composition and the way the dog is fully focused on its job. A great entry, well done.

Ouch! That would have hurt if the bite sleeve was not there. This is a great high energy image. I really like the composition of the action in the frame as there is enough space for it to move into. Being central works as the action is unpredictable and could go any way. A sharp image too, well done.

WOW, they are big teeth. This is obviously a working dog. I like how you have composed the image with the police officer's face hidden by the dog. The dog quite clearly takes the job seriously too.
