Domes (architecture)

Brief

This contest is for your photos of domes on buildings. A dome is a hemispherical structure, generally circular and shaped like half a ball, and is a feature of many types of buildings including churches, mosques and civic buildings. Images can show domes either from the inside when they are ceilings or from the outside when they are roofs. It would be much appreciated if you could include information such as the name and location of the building in your image description. Photos can be colour or monochrome.
