Domestic Cats

First of all thanks for participating in my contest! I have a cat who always has a grumpy expression but is as sweet as they can get. Appearances sometimes deceive :-) Not sure if it's the same with this cat, but I came to love these grumpy faces. Beautiful black and white conversion, with plenty of detail still showing and very good focus at such a wide aperture. Congrats!

The centered composition works well here and the blurry sides and background frame the subject well. I would have removed (even in post production) the stick hanging behind the cat on the left, I feel like it's out of place. But in the whole a remarkable image. Congratulations!

I understand these cats have a very peculiar face, and they always have sort of a grumpy expression, but here the cat seems really annoyed or, like a king, getting attentions from everyone but not letting show how much he/she likes it.
