Elegant fashion

A stunning and beautifully creative shot that caught my eye immediately. A great looking model and beautiful styling and makeup to match. The best thing of this image is the lighting, the way it falls on the face from high up, highlighting the headpiece just enough to make it stand out from the dark background and emphasising the model's bone structure whilst creating a sense of mystery. Whereas perhaps this image is too modern looking for me to include it in the 'Elegant Fashion' top 10, I fell in love with this shot instantly, and want to congratulate the photographer on such great work. Well done!

This image makes me feel all warm inside. The loveliest little fashion model wearing a beautiful dress in a dreamy location. Although it differs from what we tend to imagine when we think of 'elegant fashion', this image fits the description perfectly. A great shot and beautifully edited too. Well done!

If this isn't 'Elegant', I don't know what is! A stunning woman wearing a beautiful dress. I like the pose, strong and confident, that shows both the beautiful neckline of the dress as well as the detailed back of it. It isn't easy to do! I like that the photographer shot this wide enough to include the frame of the large mirror, which adds grand detail to the image, as well as the perfume bottles on the table - a lovely extra touch! What a great shot!

A stunning image that looks like a painting. Graceful, elegant, but different and daring at the same time. The model and styling look great, and I love the colours. It could perhaps benefiting from removing the orange shape on the top of the frame, but I loved this image nonetheless. Well done!

A simple, yet visually strong fashion image. I like the angle the photographer chose to capture the model and dress from. It emphasises the shape of the dress, which is definitely the key element of the image. Excellent choice of model, and I very much like how minimal the team chose to keep the hair and makeup, to let the natural beauty of the model and the dress shine. The perfect 'Elegant Fashion' portrait. Every element in this image is graceful and elegant. A great choice of model, that works particularly well with the chosen styling. I really like the background, that contributes to giving the shot an 'old painting' feel. The lighting is beautiful. The only thing I would have done differently in this image is the choice of necklace. Perhaps, I would have chosen a more delicate and less modern piece of jewellery, such as pearls, maybe, to match with the headpiece. But it doesn't take away from the beauty of this shot. Well done!

I love the colours in this image. The red of the dress that matches the red stripes of the train, against the dark green. It's a striking combination. The dark, cloudy sky adds even more drama to the shot. The model's pose looks natural, which isn't always easy to achieve. Well done!

A great, original-looking shot. I love the similarity between the folds of the dress and the shapes at the top of the wall. It's almost as if the model was a statue about to come to life in the middle of the night. It's magical and dreamy, but visually strong. The only thing that I would improve in this image is the way the hair falls on the model's chest. It would be less distracting if it was brushed down, but it's a small detail and one that isn't easy at all to spot during shooting. It doesn't make the image any less beautiful. Well done!

What a beautifully executed portrait. I like the angle the photographer chose to shoot from, that allows for the rows of jackets to snake from one side of the frame to the other, adding depth and detail to the shot. The light on the subject is very good; natural, but highlights him enough to make him stand out perfectly even in front of such a busy background. Well done!

I love the creativity behind this image. The angle the photographer chose to shoot from is extremely interesting and works very well with the movement of the bottom of the trousers.
