They are positioned in such a fashion as if wishing to be filled or even received graciously. The slightly worn texture of the hands emanates feelings of a slightly hardened lifestyle. We are drawn into the image as we tend to ponder upon what she so desires and feelings of sympathy are invoked in us. Congrats and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The scene devoid of any activity is the epitome of the concept 'empty'. The door which is slightly ajar also leads into an empty or abandoned warehouse- this is depicted by the dark interior. We are further drawn into the image by the empty chair as we ponder as to whom the chair belongs and question the reality of the person's absence.The chair not only works well as a point of interest but contrasts well with the blue door residing in the background. Congrats and well done!
